Who's Playing
Idaho @ California Riverside
Current Records: Idaho 3-8; California Riverside 6-4
What to Know
The California Riverside Highlanders have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Idaho Vandals at 10 p.m. ET Dec. 22 at Student Recreation Center. Both teams looked pretty sloppy on the offensive side of the ball the last time they faced off, scoring just 109 points combined.
California Riverside didn't have too much trouble with the California Baptist Lancers at home last week as they won 70-54.
Meanwhile, Idaho made easy work of the American Indian College Warriors this past Saturday and carried off an 84-55 victory.
The Highlanders are now 6-4 while the Vandals sit at 3-8. Two stats to keep an eye on: California Riverside is stumbling into the matchup with the fewest takeaways in college basketball, having accrued only 10.1 on average. Idaho has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 21st worst in college basketball in takeaways, with only 11 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
