Chaminade's website all too content to report Chaminade losing to Texas

Chaminade had an easy upset Monday in the Maui Invitational, but according to its website, it didn't. (via USA Today)

It's fun with computers!

Wanted to quickly share this with you, because why not? Chaminade got that great, easy -- OK, way too easy -- 86-73 win over Texas Monday night in the Maui Invitational. The team, the coaches, the players? They had to expect to beat the Longhorns.

Unfortunately, the school did not, as you can see. And as someone who's typo'd a score or player or two (OK, OK, or 14) while plowing through Night Courts in seasons past, I can empathize.

This post is going up just after noon on the East Coast, which means it's 7:15 a.m. out in Hawaii. And the site still has not made the correction. Diehard Silverswords fans who did not get a chance to see the game or have no other access to Chaminade results outside of the school's athletic website are still being led astray as we speak.

Either that, or this is the greatest reverse jinx I've ever seen. And now I'm hoping it is, which means the Illini need to be unsettled.

On Tuesday, Chaminade goes up against Illinois, which beat USC on Monday by 30, 94-64. The winner's-bracket game starts at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
