College basketball rankings: Kansas taking bewildering path toward another Big 12 title
The Jayhawks, ranked No. 6 in the Top 25 (and one), can grab a share of the league Saturday

Kansas lost its top freshman to an NCAA investigation before he ever even played a game. And the Jayhawks have dropped three home games in the same season for the first time ever under Bill Self. So this hasn't been a normal run for KU. And yet Bill Self's program can still secure its 14th straight Big 12 title with a win Saturday at Texas Tech.
I'm not surprised.
But, absolutely, there were times this season when I thought the streak was in real jeopardy. Kansas looked as vulnerable as ever. But the Jayhawks have won three straight games to take a one-game lead over Texas Tech with just three games left. Which means a win at United Supermarkets Arena on Saturday will secure at least a share of the Big 12 title. Tip is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET.
