Wisconsin was, just 19 days ago, ranked seventh in the Associated Press poll with a 21-3 record featuring a 10-1 Big Ten mark. Now the Badgers are 22-8 overall and 11-6 in the league thanks to a stretch in which they’ve lost five of their past six games - most recently Thursday night’s home game against unranked Iowa.

That result ensured Purdue will be the Big Ten’s outright champions no matter what happens this weekend. It also dropped the Badgers to a No. 7 seed in Jerry Palm’s latest projected NCAA Tournament bracket and caused them to fall completely out of the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one).
