Dayton adds Oakland transfer Ryan Bass, eligible immediately
Dayton shored up the point guard position on Tuesday.
Five months removed from a shocking Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament, Dayton is still looking to add players for another March run.
On Tuesday, head coach Archie Miller announced the signing of former Oakland guard Ryan Bass, who will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.

Bass, a 5-foot-9 native of Dayton, left Oakland before the season began last fall. He averaged 9.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in the 2012-13 season.
Dayton did need some reinforcements at the point guard position, as starter Khari Price transferred to Southern Miss over the summer. Sophomore Scoochie Smith is expected to move into the starting lineup.
