The Weber State Wildcats will face off against the Dixie St. Trailblazers on the road at 9 p.m. ET this past Saturday at Burns Arena. The Wildcats will be strutting in after a victory while Dixie St. will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Weber State beat the Green Bay Phoenix 68-58 last week.

As for Dixie St., it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. Their painful 98-71 loss to the Southern California Trojans last Monday might stick with them for a while. Dixie St. was surely aware of their 26-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. Guard Cameron Gooden put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 17 points.

Weber State is the favorite in this one, with an expected 11.5-point margin of victory. Those burned by picking them against the spread last week might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.

The Wildcats are now a perfect 5-0 while the Trailblazers sit at 1-4. A couple stats to keep an eye on: Weber State enters the contest with a 53.30% field goal percentage, good for fourth best in college basketball. Less enviably, Dixie St. has allowed their opponents to shoot 49.70% from the floor on average, which is the third highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. So the cards are definitely stacked against Dixie St.
