Who's Playing
Western Illinois @ Eastern Michigan
Current Records: Western Illinois 4-1; Eastern Michigan 1-3
What to Know
The Eastern Michigan Eagles will be returning home after a two-game road trip. They will take on the Western Illinois Leathernecks at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday at Convocation Center. WIU will be strutting in after a win while the Eagles will be stumbling in from a defeat.
EMU was expected to have a tough go of it this past Saturday, and, well, they did. They suffered a grim 83-59 defeat to the Michigan State Spartans. Guard Monty Scott had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 31 minutes with and six turnovers.
As for the Leathernecks, they can't say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-67 victory over the Northern Kentucky Norse on Monday.
Barring any buzzer beaters, EMU is expected to win a tight contest. They hadn't treated fans well this season, but they at least enjoy a 3-1 record against the spread.
EMU is now 1-3 while WIU sits at 4-1. The Leathernecks are 2-1 after wins this year, and the Eagles are 1-1 after losses.
