The E. Tennessee State Buccaneers will hit the road for the third straight game as they head to McKenzie Arena at 7 p.m. ET Thursday. The teams split their matchups last year, with the Chattanooga Mocs winning the first 53-51 at home and E. Tennessee State taking the second 63-53.

The Buccaneers were expected to lose against the Georgia Bulldogs last Wednesday, but instead they received a nice stocking stuffer. E. Tennessee State ultimately received the gift of an 86-84 win from a begrudging UGA squad. It took five tries, but they can finally say that they have a victory on the road. They can attribute much of their success to guard David Sloan, who had 24 points, and guard Jordan King, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and finished with 22 points.

Meanwhile, the stars were brightly shining for Chattanooga in a 77-65 victory over the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders last week.

E. Tennessee State is expected to lose this next one by 8. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with E. Tennessee State, who are 6-5 against the spread.

The Buccaneers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Mocs when the two teams previously met in March, winning 63-53. E. Tennessee State's victory shoved Chattanooga out of the playoffs, so they have a target on their back.
