What to Know
The Duquesne Dukes will take on the Bradley Braves at 1 p.m. ET Monday at Virgin Islands Sport & Fitness Center. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Duquesne came up short against the Colorado Buffaloes this past Saturday, falling 84-76. The Dukes' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of forward Kevin Easley Jr., who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, and center Tre Williams, who had 17 points in addition to seven blocks and seven boards.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Bradley as they fell 65-62 to the Brown Bears this past Saturday. Guard Terry Roberts had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 26 minutes but putting up just eight points on 3-for-13 shooting.
Barring any buzzer beaters, Duquesne is expected to win a tight contest. Those who got lucky with them against the spread this past Saturday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
The losses bumped both teams down to an identical 1-4. Duquesne is 0-3 after losses this season, Bradley 1-2.
