Who's Playing

Dixie State @ No. 24 Southern California

Current Records: Dixie State 1-3; Southern California 3-0

What to Know

The Dixie State Trailblazers are on the road again on Monday and play against the #24 Southern California Trojans at 11 p.m. ET Nov. 22 at Galen Center. USC will be strutting in after a victory while the Trailblazers will be stumbling in from a loss.

Dixie State was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 79-73 to the Northridge Matadors.

Meanwhile, USC strolled past the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles with points to spare last Tuesday, taking the matchup 78-61. Guard Boogie Ellis and forward Isaiah Mobley were among the main playmakers for USC as the former had 18 points and six assists along with eight rebounds and the latter had 13 points and six assists in addition to nine boards. Mobley hadn't helped his team much against the Temple Owls two weeks ago, so this was a nice turnaround for him.

Dixie State have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 26 point spread they are up against. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 2-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

The Trailblazers are now 1-3 while the Trojans sit at 3-0. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Dixie State has allowed their opponents to shoot 48.80% from the floor on average, which is the 12th highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. USC's offense has more to brag about, as they they enter the game with a 51.10% field goal percentage, good for 20th best in college basketball. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
