The Stanford Cardinal will square off against the #17 Texas Longhorns at 3 p.m. ET Sunday at T-Mobile Arena. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

Stanford didn't have too much trouble with the Dartmouth Big Green at home this past Thursday as they won 89-78. The Cardinal's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but forward Brandon Angel led the charge as he had 18 points.

Meanwhile, the Longhorns were completely in charge last Tuesday, breezing past the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 63-31 at home. Texas' forward Tre Mitchell filled up the stat sheet, picking up 14 points along with five boards.

Stanford have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 10.50 point spread they are up against. True fans might be the only ones betting on them, currently 2-6-1 ATS, to cover the spread.

The wins brought Stanford up to 6-3 and Texas to 7-2. The Longhorns' defense has more to brag about, as they they enter the game with only 53.6 points allowed per game on average, good for second best in college basketball. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
