Indiana assistant coach Kenny Johnson is leaving the Hoosiers for Louisville, sources told

Johnson has been at Indiana for two seasons, after spending one season as an assistant coach at Towson.

He is regarded as one of the best recruiters in the country, helping Tom Crean land several players the past couple of years, including Noah Vonleh, Troy Williams, Stanford Robinson and incoming freshman Robert Johnson.

Johnson was a major player in the Team Takeover AAU organization for several years, and was also a coach at Paul VI (Va.). He will replace Kevin Keatts on Rick Pitino's staff. Keatts was an ace recruiter who left last month for the head coach job at UNC-Wilmington.

Johnson was also mentioned with the assistant coach vacancy for Maryland this offseason.
