The home of LaVar Ball, the father of UCLA freshman Lonzo Ball, was burglarized on Tuesday evening according to a report from TMZ

The police were called by neighbors around 8 p.m. PT to inform them about a suspicious crash at the Ball residence. LaVar and his family were not at home at the time. LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo Ball, the younger brothers of Lonzo, were playing in a high school basketball game.

According to the report, authorities found a pile of the family’s belongings inside the home when they arrived, potentially suggesting the burglars were not able to get away with whatever they came for.

To pile on to what was already a down night for the family, Chino Hills and the Ball brothers suffered a Southern California Open Division regional semifinal loss to Bishop Montgomery 87-80.
