Rapper Drake has taken heat with his tendency to jump on bandwagons. He's been a Raptors fan (he's from Canada, so at least that makes sense), a Miami Heat fan during the Lebron James era and recently a Kentucky basketball fan (which landed him a cease and desist letter from the school).

Despite his rep, Drake explained that notion is simply not true in an interview with Complex.

"Well, first of all, I'd like to say that despite what everyone on the Internet thinks, I do not team jump," Drake said. "In the past I've always supported the player and not the institution--unless we're talking about the Kentucky Wildcats and the Toronto Raptors; I will never stray from them. But whether it comes to soccer or football or basketball, I have a lot of friends that play for a lot of teams. I'm not team jumping. I'm a supportive friend."

So there you have it. Drake's a supporter of players, not teams.

And he's apparently found a new player to support in 2018 Five Star prospect Zion Williamson, which he proudly did in an Instagram post with the award-winning rapper sporting his jersey.

Williamson, a 16-year-old high school star at Spartanburg (S.C.) Day School, who has become an internet sensation with dunks that have to be seen to be believed. So Drake decided to book his seat on the bandwagon.

In a response to the post from the superstar rapper, Williamson replied with an "OMG, much love".
