LOOK: Northwestern students paint chests in support of Purdue

The Purdue Boilermakers have traveled to Evanston, Ill., to play Northwestern tonight, and in the wake of the shooting on Purdue's campus Tuesday, NU students have made a gesture in support of the Boilermakers. Pretty powerful picture there.

This comes hours after one person was reportedly killed by a gunman, who later surrendered to police.

Via CBS News:

The suspect, identified as engineering student Cody Cousins, 23, surrendered to a police officer within minutes of the attack at the Electrical Engineering Building, Purdue Police Chief John Cox said.

The victim was identified as Andrew Boldt, 21, a senior who was also a teaching assistant from West Bend, Wis.

Cox said the shooter apparently targeted Boldt, but investigators were still working on a motive.

Purdue is 13-5 and riding a three-game winning streak. Northwestern is 9-10 and coming off its biggest win of the season, a road victory against Indiana on Saturday.
