LOOK: Oregon's electric green uniforms light up during introductions
A black light during pregame ceremonies brought the Ducks uniforms to life
Oregonâs electric green uniforms for Thursday nightâs game against Utah was an opportunity for Nike to show off the latest in on-court fashion.
The Ducks rolled out a similar glow in the dark accent on a black home uniform in 2015 but has never taken on a full head-to-toe glow like this. It was a special occasion, though: The game was on national television, new football coach Willie Taggart was in the house and so was former Oregon great DeâAnthony Thomas.
The uniforms donât glow in the dark totally, or glow on the court (thankfully), but when the lights went down and the blacklight came on during the pregame player introductions they were illuminated. Oregon posted a video of the strobing uniforms on Twitter.
