LOOK: The best photos from the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament
These are simply incredible. Must-click.
It was a record-setting first weekend for the NCAA Tournament.
And the photos are magnificent. A heavy dollop of some of the best shots from the first four days of the NCAAs below. Enjoy and share at your leisure. Captions for the photos are placed above each picture.
Baseline view of R.J. Hunter's winning shot for Georgia State over Baylor on Thursday. (USATSI)
Not a photo, but a screencap I took, an instant classic March image. Ron Hunter is ejected from his rolling stool after his son's 29-foot 3-pointer gives GSU the lead. This is an indelible moment and image.
The fall from the stool caused Hunter to crack his cast. He got a new one, and on Saturday, they casted up his stool as well so he wouldn't hit the deck again. (USATSI)
Hunters hug. Tournament run ends vs. Xavier. (USATSI)
Yanick Moreira's infamous goaltend. Notice he's altered by UCLA's Kevon Looney as well. (USATSI)
UCLA wins. SMU loses. Vintage March image. (USATSI)
Willie Cauley-Stein had the dunk of the weekend. Here's the first view. (USATSI)
And the close-up. Cauley-Stein sends Cincy's Quadri Moore into another dimension. (USATSI)

One more screen shot here. It's beloved piccolo girl. Pep band hero.
Really fun First Four shot of Dayton's Kyle Davis floating over Boise State's Chandler Hutchison. (Getty)
Notre Dame's Pat Connaughton delivers the block of the tournament so far, on Butler's Kellen Dunham. Look at the faces in the crowd. (USATSI)

Oregon's Dillon Brooks does all he can to defend Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky. (USATSI)
This is where Maryland's season ended. Melo Trimble is out for the game after a head injury midway through the second half. (USATSI)
And finally, one more shot of Ron Hunter. I love this one. Getting in a bucket during Georgia State's practice on Wednesday. We'll never forget this team. (USATSI)
