NCAA Tournament 2017: Lawrence police troll Kansas following loss to Oregon
You're sad, Kansas fans, but at least Lawrence P.D. can help you get through this
Kansas’ season is done after falling 74-60 to No. 3 seed Oregon on Saturday night in the Midwest Regional final.
The Jayhawks were the top seed in the region and lost what was a de facto home game in Kansas City to the West Coast Ducks. It was a heart-breaker for many Kansas fans who saw it all happen live at the Sprint Center.
But those in the area can at least take comfort in the support of their local police department, which tweeted out some truly troll-licious words of wisdom after the game.
Well, at least we have a lot of experience dealing with fans after an #Elite8 loss. Get home safely Jayhawk fans. #DriveSober

Also, on the police front, I am happy to share that they have not encountered any streakers as of 11:07 p.m. ET.
Only 1 disturbance reported so far. Pretty somber mood downtown. No streakers. #GrieveSafely #DriveSober

In all seriousness, the loss is a tough one to swallow for Jayhawks nation. Kansas finishes the season with an incredible 31-5 record and yes, another Big 12 regular-season title in hand. But this is the second consecutive year Kansas has been bounced in the Elite Eight, and fifth time it has happened under Bill Self in Lawrence.
