What to Know
After a two-game homestand, the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils will be on the road. They will take on the Nicholls State Colonels at 4 p.m. ET Saturday at David R. Stopher Gym. Mississippi Valley State is hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 87.75 points per game.
The Delta Devils were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 82-77 to the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
Meanwhile, Nicholls State was close but no cigar on Wednesday as they fell 71-68 to the Wisconsin Badgers. Guard Ty Gordon (26 points) was the top scorer for Nicholls State.
