North Dakota State's Saul Phillips has reached an agreement in principle to become the next head coach at Ohio, a source told CBSSports.com on Saturday.

The school subsequently confirmed the news on Twitter.

Phillips just completed his seventh season at NDSU, where he led the Bison to two NCAA Tournaments and a trip to the Round of 32 with a victory over Oklahoma last month. He's replacing Jim Christian, who left last week to be the next head coach at Boston College.
