What to Know

The Pacific Tigers will be returning home after a four-game road trip. Pacific and the San Francisco Dons will face off in a West Coast battle at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Spanos Center. San Francisco will be strutting in after a win while the Tigers will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Pacific was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 60-54 to the San Diego Toreros. One thing holding Pacific back was the mediocre play of guard Alphonso Anderson, who did not have his best game: he finished with only nine points on 4-for-10 shooting in his 26 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, the Santa Clara Broncos typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday San Francisco proved too difficult a challenge. The Dons enjoyed a cozy 74-58 victory over the Broncos. San Francisco got double-digit scores from four players: forward Yauhen Massalski (19), guard Jamaree Bouyea (12), guard Khalil Shabazz (11), and guard Gabe Stefanini (11). That makes it nine consecutive games in which Yauhen Massalski has had at least ten rebounds.

Pacific's loss took them down to 7-18 while San Francisco's win pulled them up to 21-6. This past Saturday San Francisco relied heavily on Massalski, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards in addition to three blocks. It will be up to Pacific's defense to limit his damage.
