Destined to miss his third NCAA tournament in as many chances as Wake Forest head coach, Jeff Bzdelik now has to deal with things like this on the regular. Someone took an ad out on Thursday in Old Gold & Black, the university student-run newspaper edition. It's part of the fan-led backlash of the lead-up to the Demon Deacons' final game of the regular season, a home tilt Sunday against Virginia Tech.

The site advocating Bzdelik's firing has a made a cause through hashtag means as well.

Bzdelik, whose team is 12-17 this year and, as the advertisement shows, 33-58 since he got to campus in the spring of 2010, has never had the Wake base on his side. The hire was unpopular from the start, and Bzdelik has dealt with a lot of turnover. It's made it extremely hard to tread water in the ACC.

Wake (currently in second-to-last place in the ACC) hired Bzdelik after he left Colorado after three seasons, none of them above .500. He last coached in the NCAA tournament with Air Force in 2006.
