Pod: Doyel details the Final Four, dissects the tournament to this point

Bill Self -- is this the best coaching job he's ever done, or are we not giving KU's talent enough credit? (US Presswire)

CBSSports.com national columnist Gregg Doyel makes his return to the podcast to set up what could be the most epic Final Four of the past 20 years. Kentucky vs. Louisville? Are you kidding? The hype for this matchup could actually be unlike anything college basketball has ever seen. Outside of the Bluegrass State bombast, we discuss that other, you know, really great matchup between Ohio State and Kansas. And outside of that, Doyel gives us his impressions of the NCAAs up to this point. Has the tournament been a letdown? Are Lehigh and Norfolk State's wins the defining moment of this tournament?

This is a pretty enlightening appearance by Doyel. He's honest and forthright about a few things, like how he probably can't/won't write on UK-Louisville because most would believe he would side with Cal on all matters and attack Pitino. He's also got an interesting story about Pitino calling his home four years ago. Enjoy.

Guests like Jay Bilas, Seth Davis, they're the guys who make me sound better and make the podcast worthwhile. The other guys? Gary Parrish and Jeff Goodman, they really make it entertaining, and of course you can count on our trio show each Wednesday.
