Podcast: What's next in the ongoing college basketball scandal that's rocked the sport?

Where are we headed with this ongoing and (presumably) growing college basketball scandal? Matt Norlander and I discussed that at the top of this episode of the Eye On College Basketball Podcast. We touched on Arizona, Auburn and USC. We touched on the role shoe companies play. We touch on the amateurism model that college athletics ties itself to. It's just a long, free-flowing 46-minute conversation about the dominant story in college athletics.

Then we got to Louisville removing Rick Pitino at the 46:02 mark. Then we got to LaVar Ball taking LaMelo Ball out of his high school at the 56:18 mark. And then we got to the death of Tom Petty at the 66:52 mark.

Norlander and I both explained our affection for Petty.

We spent about 18 minutes on that at the end.
