Sean Obi is going to Duke.
Rice transfer Sean Obi is off the board, announcing his commitment to Duke on Monday night.
Obi made the announcement via Instagram.
Below the photo, Obi expanded:
"Happy to officially announce that I will be attending Duke university for the rest of my college basketball career. Very thankful for all the support and love from my family and friends all over, and also to every college Coach that have called and been in involved with me through out this process. Duke it is!!"
Michigan and Vanderbilt were also involved with Obi.
Obi, a 6-foot-9 power forward, will have to sit out next season, but will have three years of eligibility remaining. The Nigeria native averaged 11.4 points and 9.3 rebounds this past season.
