Rod Strickland joining staff at USF
Former NBA star Rod Strickland will be moving to Tampa to join the USF basketball staff.
Rod Strickland will join Orlando Antigua's staff at South Florida as an assistant coach, multiple sources told CBSSports.com.
An official announcement is expected before the weekend.
Strickland, best known for his 17-year NBA playing career that included an NBA assists title with the Wizards in 1997-98, had been on John Calipari's staff at Kentucky since 2009 and served in an administrative role for the past few seasons.
Antigua was named head coach of the Bulls on March 31st.
