The SMU Mustangs won both of their matches against the Temple Owls last season (79-71 and 79-68) and are aiming for the same result Saturday. The Mustangs and Temple will face off in an American Athletic battle at 3 p.m. ET at Moody Coliseum. SMU is out to keep their ten-game home win streak alive.

SMU made easy work of the South Florida Bulls on Wednesday and carried off a 74-54 victory. SMU can attribute much of their success to forward Marcus Weathers, who had 17 points.

Meanwhile, it was a close one, but on Tuesday Temple sidestepped the Cincinnati Bearcats for a 61-58 win. The Owls' guard Jeremiah Williams filled up the stat sheet, picking up 15 points in addition to five boards. Williams had some trouble finding his footing against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane two weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction.

The Mustangs are the favorite in this one, with an expected 9.5-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.
