UCLA transfer Josh Smith is headed across the country and will play at Georgetown, a source told CBSSports.com. The 6-foot-10 Smith chose the Hoyas over Kansas.
According to a source close to the situation, the 6-foot-10, 300-plus pound UCLA transfer has decided to go across the country to play for the Hoyas.
Smith chose Georgetown over Kansas.
Weight has been the biggest issue for Smith, who saw his production and playing time decrease in each of his three seasons under Ben Howland. Smith averaged 10.9 points and 6.3 rebounds as a freshman and was averaging just 5.2 points and 4.2 boards in 13 1/2 minutes this season before deciding to go elsewhere.
