Stanford forward Rosco Allen to miss 6-8 weeks
Stanford forward Rosco Allen will miss time with a shin injury.
The 6-9, 220 pound Allen was expected to be Stanford's first perimeter reserve behind Josh Huestis and Dwight Powell. Dawkins described Allen's injury as a stress fracture, but didn't give a specific date when he would return.
Allen averaged 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game last year as a freshman.
The Cardinal (19-15, 9-9 in Pac-12 in 2012-13) were picked sixth in the Pac-12 preseason poll.
