UCLA's Travis Wear diagnosed with appendicitis
UCLA senior forward Travis Wear was diagnosed with appendicitis on Monday night.
UCLA senior Travis Wear has been diagnosed with appendicitis, the school announced late Monday night.
Wear was being treated at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and his timetable for a return is undetermined.
The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 10.9 points and 5.2 rebounds last season, pairing with his brother David in the Bruins’ frontcourt. With Wear on the mend, sophomore Tony Parker might see an increase in minutes.
UCLA opens its season Nov. 8 against Drexel.
