Updated Top 25 (and one)

Wisconsin lost a close game at Indiana on Tuesday. Minutes after the final horn, folks started asking how far I planned to drop the Badgers in the Top 25 (and one).

My answer: Not at all.

Simply put, after looking at it, I still think the Badgers have a better body of work than the schools ranked immediately below them largely because they own six top-40 RPI wins, which is twice as many as Michigan State and three times as many as Villanova and San Diego State. Consequently, I see no reason to drop Wisconsin -- especially when also considering that its lone loss (a one-possession road loss to Indiana) is better than No. 4 Michigan State's lone loss (a 14-point home loss to UNC). So the Badgers remain No. 3, and I really do think that's the right call.

Anyway ...

The Top 25 (and one) updates every morning and also on Sunday nights.
