Who's Playing
New Hamp. @ VCU
Current Records: New Hamp. 5-4; VCU 7-4
What to Know
The VCU Rams will play host again and welcome the New Hamp. Wildcats to Stuart Siegel Center, where tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
The Rams entered their contest this past Wednesday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to the hype. They took their game against the Florida Atlantic Owls by a conclusive 66-46 score. Guard KeShawn Curry (13 points) was the top scorer for VCU.
Meanwhile, New Hamp. took their matchup at home last Monday with ease, bagging a 92-54 victory over the Keene State Owls.
The wins brought VCU up to 7-4 and New Hamp. to 5-4. Two stats to keep an eye on: VCU ranks 14th in college basketball when it comes to takeaways, with 18.5 on average. But the Wildcats come into the contest boasting the fewest turnovers per game in college basketball at 7.9. We'll see which of these strengths -- offense or defense -- will win out.
