Who throws a shoe, honestly?

Honestly, women's basketball players at Georgetown.

This clip will surely be viral by the afternoon. Hoyas freshman Shayla Cooper accidentally had her shoe shed during the second half of the team's season-opener against Richmond last Friday. In an effort to "block" a shot, Cooper scooped the shoe and tossed it toward the ball.

Mission: failed. Internet's attention: officially grabbed. If you're wondering, tossing a shoe as means of interrupting any kind of play is illegal in basketball.

Cooper had one heck of a memorable first game. She ended up with 17 points, seven boards and five dimes in the Hoyas' 82-78 victory.
