VIDEO: Kevin Ware in the gym, taking shots
The Louisville guard who suffered a famous leg fracture in March is on his way to recovery, and here's video of the latest evidence.
Listen, Kevin Ware's injury in the Elite Eight was so gruesome, I can't help but marvel at how quickly he's recovering. His target is to be game-ready for the start of the 2013-14 season. It's admirable, but who knows if it's a reality.
What we do know: Less than three months removed from his right tibia jutting out of his skin, the Louisville guard is back on the court and getting shots in. That's damn inspiring, and you can see him working back into basketball form above.
What's more, the video above was converted for YouTube but actually first appeared on Instagram. The social-media service is already producing moving-picture news content. I have a feeling we'll be using it quite a bit in the coming months.
