What to Know

The Nevada Wolf Pack haven't won a game against the San Diego State Aztecs since March 9 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought Sunday. Nevada is on the road again Sunday and plays against San Diego State at 4 p.m. ET Feb. 6 at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

The Wolf Pack ended up a good deal behind the Fresno State Bulldogs when they played this past Friday, losing 73-56. A silver lining for Nevada was the play of guard Desmond Cambridge Jr., who posted a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, San Diego State was just a bucket short of a win this past Friday and fell 58-57 to the Colorado State Rams. San Diego State's defeat came about despite a quality game from guard Matt Bradley, who had 27 points.

Nevada have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 13.50 point spread they are up against. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past four games, so buyers beware.

The Wolf Pack came up short against the Aztecs when the two teams previously met in March of last year, falling 77-70. The loss knocked Nevada out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at San Diego State with a vengeful fire.
