The #18 Xavier Musketeers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they must head out on the road. Xavier and the #23 Villanova Wildcats will face off in a Big East battle at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday at Finneran Pavilion. The Musketeers have some work to do to even out the 2-9 series between these two since December of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.

Xavier was able to grind out a solid victory over the Marquette Golden Eagles this past Saturday, winning 80-71. Xavier got double-digit scores from four players: guard Dwon Odom (19), guard Nate Johnson (17), forward Jack Nunge (13), and guard Colby Jones (11).

Meanwhile, Villanova suffered a grim 79-59 defeat to the Creighton Bluejays this past Friday. One thing holding Villanova back was the mediocre play of guard Justin Moore, who did not have his best game: he finished with only six points on 3-for-10 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.

The Musketeers are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. Those burned by picking them against the spread this past Saturday might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
