WATCH: Wild last few seconds, long buzzer-beater decides crazy small college game
Minnesota State University Moorhead player nails 35-foot game-winner as time expires
Some of you may have missed this finish from Division II on Saturday, but it's one you will want to check out as Minnesota State University Moorhead topped Northern State 93-92.
With under 10 seconds remaining Northern State was down 90-89 and attempted to drive the ball in and get a score. Instead, they got it nearly stripped away before a Northern player tipped the ball out at the top of the key. Northern drained an insane 3-pointer to go up 92-90 with 2.1 seconds remaining.
The Northern State fans rejoiced, but it was short-lived.
Minnesota State University Moorhead took a quick timeout to draw up a play, then MSUM's Tanner Kretchman took the inbounds the length of the floor to pull up from 35-feet, and nailed this running game-winning 3-pointer.
A pretty incredible shot at the buzzer in one of the most unlikeliest and entertaining finishes you might see in any level of of college basketball this season.
