  • Melvin Frazier: Efficient 19 points off bench

Frazier managed 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes in Wednesday's 113-103 victory over the Texas Legends.

Frazier is averaging 12.8 points per game despite coming off the bench in about half of his G League appearances this season. He's making 52.5 percent of his attempts from the field, though he doesn't tend to offer much beyond efficient shooting.

  • Melvin Frazier: All-around performance in win

Frazier put up 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 28 minutes in Friday's 126-108 win over the Austin Spurs. He also had four steals and two blocks in the game.

Frazier led his team defensively against Austin on Friday, and he finished with solid scoring and rebounding numbers as well. He's shooting 52.6 percent from the field this season, though he could improve his free-throw shooting (69.2 percent).

  • Melvin Frazier: Decent showing against Santa Cruz

Frazier recorded 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Friday's 127-123 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Frazier played well in multiple facets of Friday's game, but his -- and his entire team's -- poor shooting from deep eventually made the difference in the Blue's narrow defeat. Frazier usually shoots better than this, as he's converted 53.3 percent of his attempts from the field and 40.4 percent of his attempts from three-point range this season.

  • Melvin Frazier: Leads scoring in win

Frazier tallied 27 points (10-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds across 27 minutes in Wednesday's 121-101 victory against the Stockton Kings.

Frazier posted a season high in points in what was just his second G League start of the season on Wednesday. He's shooting 59 percent from the court and 51.7 percent from three-point range this season, and more performances like this should see his playing rate of 20.1 minutes per game increase.

  • Melvin Frazier: Leads team in scoring off bench

Frazier posted 20 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 24 minutes in Sunday's 99-89 defeat against the G League Ignite.

  • Melvin Frazier: Records 17 off bench

Frazier totaled 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and two steals across 19 minutes in Saturday's 104-101 defeat against the South Bay Lakers.

Frazier was very efficient off the bench and he had a plus/minus of +11, but he couldn't quite do enough to earn a win for his team. He's averaging 8.8 points in 17.9 minutes per game, and shooting a very good 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep this season.

  • Melvin Frazier: Posts 15 points off bench

Frazier recorded 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists across 19 minutes in Sunday's 114-81 victory against the Salt Lake City Stars. He also had a steal in the game.

Frazier was effective coming off the bench Sunday, and he was very efficient with his shooting. The small forward tailed off a bit last season, playing in just 12 games for the Blue and starting none of them, but more performances like this could see him become a G League regular once again.

Frazier was waived by the Thunder on Thursday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.

Frazier had seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three steals, two rebounds and one assist during Friday's loss to the Ignite.

  • Melvin Frazier: Joins OKC Blue in bubble

The Thunder's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, announced Thursday that Frazier will be a member of its roster for the four-week 2020-21 G League season in Orlando, which begins Feb. 10, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.

Frazier attended training camp with the Thunder, but he was waived a few days after signing his contract. Oklahoma City was still able to retain his G League rights, so he'll now get the opportunity to showcase his skills in Orlando with the hope of earning a contract from an NBA team later this season. Frazier was a member of the Magic during the 2019-20 campaign, appearing in 19 games and averaging 2.1 points in 6.5 minutes.

Frazier was signed by the Thunder on Thursday, Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reports.

The third-year guard appeared in just 29 games across his first two seasons in Orlando before getting let go by the team in November. Frazier could potentially earn some minutes on a rebuilding Oklahoma City squad that is short on talent at the shooting guard position.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Available for Game 5

Frazier (back) is available for Saturday's Game 5 against the Bucks.

Frazier hasn't played in the postseason yet, but he'll be suiting up for Game 5 with the Magic down 3-1. It's certainly not a guarantee that he'll see the court.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Status uncertain for Game 5

The Magic list Frazier (back) as questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Bucks.

Along with Frazier, the Magic are still listing Vic Law (Achilles) as questionable ahead of the 4 p.m. ET tipoff, but neither player's status should affect coach Steve Clifford's rotation plans. Frazier has yet to appear in the series and saw action in only four of the Magic's eight seeding games.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Out for Game 4

Frazier (back) will not play in Monday's Game 4 against Milwaukee.

Frazier was held out of Game 3 with the same issue, but his absence isn't a major loss, as he hasn't been part of the regular rotation this season.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Uncertain for Game 4

The Magic list Frazier (back) as questionable for Monday's Game 4 matchup with the Bucks.

Frazier's sore lower back had previously kept him on the sideline for the Magic's 121-107 loss Saturday in Game 3. The second-year swingman hasn't been a regular part of coach Steve Clifford's rotation since the Magic restarted their season July 31, so Frazier's potential return to action Monday shouldn't influence how the minutes are doled out.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Out Saturday

Frazier has been ruled out of Saturday's Game 3 against the Bucks due to a sore back.

Frazier has not logged any minutes this series, so his absence is not expected to impact anyone else's minutes. His next chance to suit up will come in Monday's Game 4.

  • Magic's Melvin Frazier: Logs 19 minutes versus Lakers

Frazier had three points (0-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes during Saturday's 119-112 loss to the Lakers.

Frazier was sloppy offensively, but he was one of 10 Magic players to earn double-digit minutes. It's unclear if Jonathan Isaac (knee) will rejoin the rotation during the restart, and that may be the main determining factor in whether Frazier continues to earn decent playing time going forward. Regardless, Frazier is mostly unproven and remains a dart throw in daily leagues.
