  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Enters health and safety protocols

Bol (undisclosed) has entered the league's health and safety protocols, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports.

It's not yet clear whether Bol has tested positive for COVID-19, but he'll need to spend some time away from the team. He's expected to miss several games, and a timetable for his return hasn't yet been established.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Blocks five shots off bench

Bol finished Monday's preseason opener against the Clippers with 11 points (4-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and five blocks.

Bol made his presence felt in 20 minutes off the bench, patrolling the paint and helping Denver limit the Clippers to 43.2 percent shooting as a team. Bol did commit four fouls and four turnovers, however. The third-year Oregon product remains a fascinating prospect, but the Nuggets are yet to find a consistent role for him, and that may not change this season. Through his first two years in the league, Bol has appeared in only 39 games. In 2020-21, he saw double-digit minutes in just four of his 32 appearances.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Out Saturday

Bol is out for Saturday's Summer League game against the Mavericks, Harrison Wind of reports.

Bol is presumably getting the day off for rest. In his three Summer League appearances, he's averaged 21.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 26.9 minutes.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Records consecutive DNPs

Bol is averaging 5.1 minutes, 4.3 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.1 steals in eight games played since the All-Star break.

The 21-year-old's role has been regulated to garbage time. After scoring eight points on perfect shooting, including two three-pointers, in only five minutes against the Hawks on March 28, the seven-footer hasn't touched the court since. It's hard to imagine that situation changing much in future games.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Makes an appearance Tuesday

Bol closed with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one assist in two minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 victory over Milwaukee.

With Tuesday's game descending into garbage time, Bol made a rare appearance for the Nuggets. Despite being a fan favorite, his role is barely worth talking about most nights, so we simply need to make the most of what was a fun two minutes of playing time.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Doesn't play Tuesday

Bol didn't play in Tuesday's loss to Boston.

The second-year forward has completely fallen out of the rotation for the time being, as Bol has played in just one game over the past five contests. In that one appearance, Bol had two points and two rebounds in six minutes Feb. 10 against the Cavaliers.

  • Cavaliers' Marques Bolden: Transferred to G League

Bolden will join the Canton Charge ahead of the 2020-21 G League season in Orlando.

Bolden's contract was converted to a two-way deal in December, and he'll now join the four-week bubble in Orlando to continue his development. The 22-year-old appeared in six games for the Cavaliers early in the season, averaging 1.2 points over 4.8 minutes per contest.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Contributes five points in start

Bol scored five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) to go with two rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes in a 122-116 loss to Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Bol played his most minutes since the Orlando bubble last summer in his first career start. The center hasn't been much of a factor in Denver's rotation this season, playing just 4.0 minutes per game this year. Bol looks like an option to stretch the floor for the Nuggets, shooting 42.1 percent from deep for his career, but don't expect to see a drastic increase in playing time to make that percentage valuable.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Starting Tuesday

Bol will start Tuesday's game against the Nets, T.J. McBride of BlueWire reports.

With Gary Harris out, the Nuggets will shake things up and go with Bol at small forward for what will be the first NBA start of his career. Bol has shown some flashes in the past -- particularly in the Orlando bubble -- but he hasn't been a part of the regular rotation this season. In Sunday's win over the Knicks, Bol played just four minutes off the bench.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Ends preseason with mixed night

Bol had 16 points (4-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-9 FT), eight rebounds and one assist in a 129-96 win over Portland on Friday.

Bol saw his minutes spike from seven to 23 during Friday's game. The 21-year-old struggled with his shot yet fell just two rebounds shy of a double-double. It could be an encouraging sign for Bol, but he is not in line to fully show what he can do as a depth player for the contending Nuggets.

  • Nuggets' Bol Bol: Productive in limited minutes

Bol finished with 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and one assist in six minutes during Wednesday's 126-95 preseason victory over the Trail Blazers.

Bol came on in garbage time, making the most of his limited opportunity. Despite the excellent per-minute production, Bol figures to be more of a benchwarmer for the Nuggets this season. Isaiah Hartenstein appears to have secured the primary backup center role, so while Bol is going to have moments of relevance, he is not worth drafting at this point.
