2023 SEC Media Days live updates: LSU, Texas A&M, Missouri football teams headline schedule on Monday
A plethora of Tigers as well as some Aggies will help kick off the 2023 SEC Media Days festivities on Monday in Atlanta
The 2023 SEC Media Days slate kicks off on Monday as player and coach representatives from all 14 teams hit Nashville for the first time since the event began to preview the upcoming football season. This edition of SEC Media Days also stands as the last before the conference undergoes some significant changes.
By this time next year, the conference will have ballooned to 16 schools with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma. The SEC is also set to get rid of divisions to compensate for the swelling ranks. Talks of expansion, as well as other major changes around the college football landscape, are bound to dominate conversation.
LSU's Brian Kelly, Missouri's Eli Drinkwitz and Texas A&M's Jimbo Fisher will take the stage on the first day with player representatives from each school set to speak as well. Fisher's perspective on expansion, given Texas A&M's history with both Texas and Oklahoma, is worth keeping an eye on. Meanwhile, Kelly gets an opportunity to set the bar as some expect his Tigers to compete for the conference -- and more -- entering Year 2 after winning the SEC West in 2022.
