If you're going to have your FBS career receptions record broken, at least have it done by someone at the same school. So, congratulations, East Carolina. You now have the top two wideouts in the stats book.

During Saturday's game against Navy, Pirates wideout Isaiah "Zay" Jones broke the FBS receptions record of 387 catches previously set by ex-ECU wideout Justin Hardy. Jones entered the day with 380 grabs and grabbed the record -- literally -- on his eighth catch.

And he did it all before the end of the first half, too.

At this rate, Jones is not only going to pass the record, he's going to put some cushion between him and the next challenger. The Pirates aren't bowl eligible, but there's still one more game to go against Temple in the regular season.
