Are you ready for some exciting offseason news about something that won't even happen for another six years? Well, good news, because that's exactly what we've got for you.

Arizona State and Brigham Young announced a home-and-home series that will take place during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

"BYU-ASU is a great regional matchup that dates back to the 1930s," said BYU AD Tom Holmoe in a release. "As charter members of the Western Athletic Conference, we’ve enjoyed a rich football rivalry. We look forward to playing in Tempe again, where we have a lot of Cougar fans and alumni. It will also be exciting to have ASU back in Provo."

The first meeting will take place in Tempe on Sept. 19, 2020 with Arizona State then making the trip to Provo on Sept. 18, 2021.

Arizona State and BYU have played 27 times, with Arizona State holding a 20-7 advantage. The last meeting, however, was a 26-6 BYU victory in 1998.
