Through 3 Quarters
A great path to victory is to simply outgain your opponent on the field, and that's working so far for the San Diego State Aztecs (with 386 yards vs. 111 yards). After three quarters it's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Arizona Wildcats as San Diego State lead 38-7. The Aztecs have come by their advantage honestly, as they have outgained Arizona 386 yards to 111.
San Diego State has enjoyed the tag-team combination of RB Greg Bell and QB Jordon Brookshire. The former has rushed for one TD and 125 yards on 19 carries, while the latter has passed for two TDs and 183 yards on 14 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Brookshire had some trouble finding his footing against the New Mexico State Aggies last week, so this is a step in the right direction.
San Diego State has been a nightmare for Arizona's offensive line with three sacks already. We'll see how many sacks San Diego State can scare up the rest of the game.

What to Know
The San Diego State Aztecs will take on the Arizona Wildcats at 10 p.m. ET Saturday at Arizona Stadium.
San Diego State strolled past the New Mexico State Aggies with points to spare last week, taking the contest 28-10. San Diego State's RB Greg Bell was one of the most active players for the team, rushing for one TD and 165 yards on 21 carries.
The Aztecs' defense was a presence as well, as it got past New Mexico State's offensive line to sack QB Jonah Johnson five times for a total loss of 25 yards. It was a group effort with five guys contributing.
Meanwhile, Arizona came up short against the BYU Cougars last week, falling 24-16. QB Gunner Cruz had a pretty forgettable game, throwing one interception.
San Diego State's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Arizona's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if San Diego State's success rolls on or if Arizona is able to steal their positive momentum.
