Auburn to broadcast Iron Bowl in its basketball arena
Auburn has figured out a way to give fans without Iron Bowl tickets a gameday experience.
Auburn has figured out a way to get Auburn fans to fill its basketball arena.
For those fans who are unable to score tickets to the Iron Bowl against Alabama on Nov. 30, Auburn will open Auburn Arena, where it plays its basketball games, to fans. Admission to the arena will be free and the game will be broadcast on the video board inside the stadium.
Also, concession stands will be open, though fans will also be allowed to bring in beverages and food from outside.
Unfortunately for those Auburn fans who enjoy a taste from time to time, alcohol will not be allowed. So I suppose they'll just have to fill water bottles with vodka and hope nobody notices.
What? Don't look at me like you haven't done it.
