Baylor players sound off on Twitter to school's sudden firing of Art Briles

Baylor has fired coach Art Briles after eight seasons amid an investigation of the football program's role in potentially covering up sexual assault incidents and allegations.

Bears players learned of the news on Thursday morning via text message, and a number of them took to Twitter to react to Briles' firing. Many of the players were upset with the news and voiced their support for Briles.

As his former players tweeted support, Briles' Twitter account completely disappeared.
