Bears score commitment No. 8 from linebacker Raaquan Davis
Baylor added to their already impressive recruiting class on Monday with the commitment of Rockwall (Texas) linebacker Raaquan Davis.
"I committed to Baylor because it's just the place for me. Since my first time visiting there I just felt a feeling that I never felt from being at any other schools,” Davis told BearsIllustrated.com.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder also held offers from Ole Miss, Iowa and Purdue among others.
“I also love Baylor's mentality about everything," he said. "Whatever they want they don't care about the obstacles and hardships in their way. And being close to home is always a plus."
Davis becomes the eighth commitment for the Bears and third linebacker of the group. Last season as a junior he racked up 111 tackles and an interception.
