The Big Ten released the 2015 schedule on Monday, giving fans a look at the last year of the league's eight-game scheduling format.
While the SEC debates the advantages and disadvantages of a nine-game scheduling format, the Big Ten has already announced plans to expand the schedule in 2016 -- two years after the arrival of Maryland and Rutgers.

Wisconsin avoids Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State in the 2015 season. Rutgers, on the other hand, will play Nebraska and Wisconsin in addition to their normal East Division schedule -- which includes Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State.
