Braxton Miller doesn't know if he'll return to Ohio State
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller said he doesn't know what he's going to do once the season is over.
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller won the Chicago Tribune's Silver Football Award on Thursday, which the paper gives annually to the best player in the Big Ten, and during his interview with the paper he was asked about his future plans. More specifically, whether or not he plans to return to Ohio State for his senior season.
Miller hasn't made a decision yet.
"It's tough; I just don't know," Miller told the Tribune. "I've really got to sit down and go through the pros and cons. I'll talk to my parents, take it slow. Hopefully ball out on Jan. 3 and see what the scouts are looking at."
Miller has had a spectacular career at Ohio State and his team came up just short of a Big Ten crown and a national title shot this season. However, while Miller hasn't made up his mind just yet, the general consensus seems to be that he'll return for his senior season.
While it's hard not to see how talented Miller is, the NFL is still a passing league. Athletic quarterbacks may be a bonus, but throwing the ball is still the name of the game. And Miller just hasn't been as polished passing as other quarterbacks that will be in the upcoming draft class.
