California has seen its fair share of underclassmen declare for the draft following a 1-11 season, but the latest to leave comes as a bit of a surprise.

CBSSports.com's Jeremy Fowler reported Wednesday that running back Brendan Bigelow will forego his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

Bigelow came to Cal as a four-star member of its 2011 recruiting class, but he hasn't quite lived up to the billing during his time on campus. He finished the 2013 season as Cal's second leading rusher with 421 yards and two touchdowns. In his three seasons Bigelow has rushed for 877 yards and five touchdowns in his three seasons.

He did help out on special teams as well, returning 62 kicks for 1,363 yards and a touchdown in his career.

Still, it's hard to get a good idea of when, or if, Bigelow will be drafted this May.
