College Football DFS, Week 11: Top DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy CFB picks
SportsLine's Mike McClure, a DFS pro with more than $1M in winnings, gives optimal lineup advice
Week 11 features plenty of conference rivalry matchups, and winning big in college football DFS is all about understanding game situations and how each one affects scoring. For example, Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State has a total that's all the way up to 79.5 after opening at 76. If oddsmakers are right, there will be some big individual numbers to feast on in college football DFS. So before you make your Week 11 college football DFS picks, be sure to check out what DFS millionaire Mike McClure has to say. He has won nearly $2 million playing DFS in his career and can show you where to find value and how to load up on high-scoring games.
McClure uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of college football action in every game, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values and create optimal lineups for DraftKings and FanDuel that he shares only with members at SportsLine.
In Week 10, he was all over Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill. The result: Hill went off for 119 yards rushing and a touchdown against Baylor while adding two catches for 12 yards. Anyone who had him in their lineup was well on their way to a winning day.
For Week 11, we can tell you McClure is banking on Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray ($10,700 on FanDuel, $10,800 on DraftKings).
Murray has been one of the most popular college football DFS picks all season, and for good reason: He has accounted for 38 touchdowns and 3,263 yards of total offense.
The Oakland Athletics' first-round pick at the 2018 MLB Entry Draft has proven he's just as adept making plays on the football field. He has had six games of at least 375 yards of total offense and accounted for at least three touchdowns in every one of them. Against an Oklahoma State defense that gave up 621 yards earlier this season to Texas Tech, get Murray into your lineups.
McClure's CFB DFS advice involves stacking Murray with Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown ($9,400 on DraftKings, $7,400 on FanDuel).
Stacking Murray with Brown has been the wise move on several occasions this season, with the pair connecting at least five times for 130 yards and a touchdown in four games this year. However, Brown has only had 12 catches for 139 yards in his past three games and he hasn't scored in those contests.
The good news is that has helped drive his price down and sets him up for an enormous return on investment against the rival Cowboys, and potentially at low ownership. Last season against Oklahoma State, Brown caught nine passes for 265 yards.
McClure is also targeting a player capable of putting up big numbers because of a dream matchup Saturday. Picking him could be the difference between winning your CFB DFS tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
